Dear Parents and Guardians,
This time of uncertainty can bring along with it some feelings of anxiety and stress. Balancing all of the new things, including having your kids at home full time, while at the same time doing your best to lean into God personally can feel overwhelming.
But God’s grace and wisdom are more than enough for each of us! The Bible says that the mercy and compassion of God is new every morning (Lam 3:22-24). Each day is a fresh new opportunity to restart and receive from God. As we are setting up the resources you will find on this site, we are praying for your families to find sweet times of fellowship together in His presence.
What this season looks like for you is not what it will look like for another family. We all roll a little differently 😉 We encourage you to use these resources in a way that best suits your situation. Maybe you want to use them all on Sunday, or maybe you want to spread them out through the week. But we want to encourage you to take time to meet with God as a family. He has given us a beautiful opportunity to pastor our own children at home in this season.
Please feel free to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions about using the resources, or with any prayer requests you have!
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:25-34
We love you!
